Method
- Two dates per filing. The date the agency stamped on it, and the date it first appeared in the agency's public file. The email keys on the second, so nothing is sent twice and late records still arrive once.
- Five events. Kitchen plans filed for state review (Florida), a new liquor license application, a new food service license (Florida), a liquor license issued, and an ownership change (a transfer or change of ownership at an existing venue).
- Venue type is derived from the license type and the business name: a California type 48 is a bar, a type 41 a restaurant, an off-premise license a store, a hotel's restaurant the hotel. It is a best reading, not the agency's own label.
- What is left out. Wholesalers, importers, transport permits, temporary event permits and renewals are not new venues, so they never reach the feed.
- Chains. A trade name we see at three or more premises is marked as a chain, so teams that sell to independents can skip them.
- Privacy. The applicant is shown only when it is a company. Personal names, mailing addresses, phone numbers and emails never appear on this site. Records can be removed on request.
- Window. Pages show the last 90 days. Charts that go further back use daily counts only.
